Shin Suzuma is a pianist and composer. His music explores the classical and neo-classical, mixing electronic textures with piano and strings.

During his studies at the Royal Academy of Music, Shin was inspired by the sonic and harmonic creativity of Chilly Gonzales and Nils Frahm driving him to develop his long-held love of improvisation into composition and electronic music production.

Shin’s eclectic career includes composing the title music to Channel 4’s 'Married at first sight', developing the sonic branding for 'American Airlines', regular sessions recording string orchestra at Air studios, recording native Japanese instruments in Tokyo and, most recently, releasing his debut EP 'Introspect'; an intimate collection of solo piano pieces that featured at the top classical piano playlists.

His music has a theme of calm and occasional melancholy, but always with a prevailing sense of hope and gentle optimism.
