Giles Stanley Management is home to a number of immensely talented composers, artists and record producers.  Now in its twelfth year, the company has transformed with the 21st century music business and adapted to a specialized and fast changing industry; from its beginnings as a record producer management company to a broader music proposition.  Always at its heart, has been the very personal and focused relationships with the extraordinary talent that GSM is privileged to represent.

From a background in the management of first class record producers, the company now specializes in a number of areas, blending Producer Management with Composer Agency and Artist Management.  

Recent successes include the work of Andrew Skeet as an orchestrator of Hollywood blockbuster movies Oceans 8 and Steve Jobs; Matt Nicholson, winner of Music & Sync Award for his composition of Bang & Olufsen’s Press Pause & Play commercial, BBC1’s The Pilgrimage and Channel 4’s 7 Year Switch; Shaun Escoffery, an artist now signed to Decca Records, who has, from his last two independent albums enjoyed eight consecutive BBC Radio 2 A list records and played every major music TV show including a spot on Later with Jools; and Gavin Monaghan, owner of the legendary Magic Garden Studio and producer of Live For The Moment a top 10 album in 2017 from UK band The Sherlock’s.

The company also represents composers of a multitude of advertising, film and television programmes, both as commissioned bespoke work and through high-end library and production music.

Giles Stanley’s business beginnings were as a music feature writer in the late 1980’s.  Since starting a producer management career in the early 1990’s, Giles has worked with producers and artists that have been responsible for some of the best performing (and most iconic) singles, albums, and soundtracks of their time.  His portfolio of clients and experience touches upon all musical genres and disciplines with output ranging from commercial advertising, through to Grammy Award-winning albums.

Giles has an active network and a wealth of experience that includes establishing management businesses for Universal and BBC Music, which between them yielded several UK number one albums and singles, and the production of one of the UK’s biggest selling albums - Keane’s nine times platinum ‘Hopes & Fears’.  

Now, a Visiting Fellow of Music at Southampton Solent University, Giles also commits to helping new talent across the music business.
